After I drew 250 boxes I started the same goal, this time with cylinders (challenge from drawabox.com). The above image is the first nine and here is the rest of the exercises :-D

Hi everyone! I started drawing again after a long gap, and I decided to start by doing the challenge and exercises from the website Draw a Box, well, just the first lesson and the challenges of boxes and cyllinders as a warm up for begin reading How to Draw from Scott Robertson :-D
So here is the first challenge, I will make a new journal entry as soon as I finish the second challenge

I'm here just to apologize about the lack of refined pieces that I'm posting. It's that nowadays I'm with much less time, studying in highschool, reading obligatory books and this kind of thing. So, I'm dedicating my free time with more quick drawings, many of wich I even don't post here. And it's cool to have some time spent with studies like the two above, you really learn a lot
This study was a design training that I'm doing in ConceptArt.org furum. Here is another one:



Another thing that I've been studying is perspective. I am reading 'Perspective made easy' by Ernest Norling wich is an amazing book with almost everything about perspective, and i'm watching a lot of videos in the subject too, this is some of my progress til now:

Hi everyone, I'll write this journal just to say a little about me and my art progress
I created my first account a couple years ago ( ), and now I've created this new because I feel that I changed my purposes a little. I always enjoyed drawing, since I remember, and created that account just to expose some drawings and maybe get some critiques. Now I'm thinking about art as my carrer, I still enjoy a lot drawing, but now I spend some time practicing more stuff, like perspective, anatomy and etc...

2012

I started trying to make some drawing more presentable, I already had my wacom tablet but didn't use it very well. I did some nice pencil drawings, technique that I was more comfortable with...


My first digital painting with the tablet, I liked the result

2013

Heavly influenciated by japanese comics and animations, that I still like a lot. Varied media. I improved a lot this year, started playing more with digital and studying some anatomy.

      

 

 

Also I started doing landscape sketches, because I'd never painted this before, and tryied some realism, and more detailed stuff.






      

2014

Here's where I am, I've been studying perspective a lot and I'm still practising, I'll try to do more studies in pencil and paper, and because I'm training more theoretical stuff maybe I post less thing than I want. But I'll try not to stop painting digitally. As a guy at the highschool, I hope I can learn a lot with you of this community as well as help who needs
